Become a creator

Do you draw coloring pages? Sell them on Apecolor. We take care of the shop, payment, protecting your files and promotion; you keep your rights and 70% of every sale.

In short

  1. You remain 100% owner of your work. You keep all your copyright; we don't ask you to assign anything.
  2. Non-exclusive license. You allow us to sell, display and promote your creations on the site and our social media. You're free to sell them elsewhere.
  3. You set your price. You choose the price of each creation and can change it at any time, depending on demand. Minimum $1.99, to cover payment fees.
  4. 70% for you, 30% for Apecolorcalculated on the net revenue of each sale: the amount paid by the customer, minus taxes, discounts, refunds and payment fees (about 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction).
  5. Monthly payouts by Interac e-Transfer, within 15 days after the end of the month, with a statement of your sales.
  6. Original work only. You certify that your creations belong to you. Creations made with the help of artificial intelligence are accepted if you disclose it: it is shown to customers so they can choose with full knowledge.
  7. You can withdraw your creations at any time, or end the collaboration with 30 days' notice. Customers who have already purchased a creation can still print it.
  8. Your files are protected. They are never offered as downloads: customers print from their account, and your originals are stored encrypted. If the site were to shut down, everyone would be notified at least 60 days in advance: customers could print their purchases, and you would get your original files back.

Example for a $4.99 album: about $0.44 in payment fees, net revenue of about $4.55, of which about $3,18 for you and $1.36 for Apecolor.

Submission guide

  • Single coloring page: a one-page PDF, or a PNG, JPG or WebP image.
  • Album: a PDF of 2 to 101 pages, with the cover as the first page.
  • Size: : 400 Mo au maximum par fichier.
  • Quality: Letter format, 300 dpi recommended. Pages are prepared for printing at 200 dpi.
  • Preview: the shop automatically displays the cover and up to 10 pages, in small size with an "apecolor.com" watermark. No need to prepare them.
  • Review: each creation is checked by our team before going live.

How to get started

  1. Create your account (or log in) and submit your application from My account → Become a creator, accepting the Creator agreement.
  2. Our team approves your application and notifies you by email.
  3. Submit your coloring pages and albums from My account → My creations.
